Founded in 1979, Alliance française of Seychelles is based in Victoria. The vocation of Alliance française of Seychelles remains the promotion and the diffusion of the French language:It offers art and educational exhibitions, concerts, lectures and workshops for a diverse audience. The year is punctuated by cultural activities, competitions, festivals: Francophonie, music festival, "Tell me ten words", etc.The library offers more than 15,000 books related to French culture including 450 comics, a large number of youth literature albums, movies and video games.
