" Was expecting a container with our boxes to arrive. What arrived was boxes that has clearly been sitting in dirty, dusty, humid warehouse. Dust and dirt has gotten into everything. Every item clothing and kitchen item required to be hand washed. Couldn't get the sofa or bed up the stairs, (these items had to be removed at out cost no less) however classic moving managed to destroy 2 walls, lights and paint job in the process. Classic. Repair work now entering second week of kicking the can by classic to fix. Classic. You have been warned. "

" Sadly, my experience with Classic Moving was not the same as the rest of the reviews on here. We moved from Singapore to Barcelona and it costed almost SGD12k, approx450cft for a shared container. For this price, you'd expect the best service but we received the opposite and here's why:
*quotation process had to be iterated a few times
*on the day of packing, the team forgot 1 drawer in the kitchen of pots & pans so they had to return a few days later to pick up the left items.
*delivery lead time during quotation was misleading, they quoted 8-12weeks but it is now 15wks and we still don't have our shipment. Delivery is not scheduled for another 2wks which means that's a total of 17wks.
*once our shipment landed in Rotterdam, they've washed their hands off and don't feel accountable for it anymore as I'm having to chase their partner - Schimdt Global Relocations, for my shipment.
*I find out from their partner, Schmidt Global Relo, that they also made a mistake on the forwarding address that they put Peterborough, UK instead of Barcelona, Spain.
I would caution you prior to hiring Classic Moving based on my recent experience with them & their European partner - there's definitely misalignment that will result to your dissatisfaction as we've experienced. "

" We have just used the services of Classic Moving to start our journey back to the UK from Singapore.
We have been extremely impressed and happy with the service so far from the initial contact and enquiry to the loading of our household goods onto the container to date. Our management contacts of Riamor and Dan have been first class from the moment we selected CM for our move - supporting us on what documents, process etc was needed plus with a very personal and speedy response on any questions that we had.
This high level of service and customer focus continued through with the packing and loading teams that ensured all of our belongings were carefully and safely packed, flexible in there approach to which rooms and items to leave until last and then working extremely hard and efficient to make sure everything was loaded and taken to their warehouse on time.
In addition even after our items were packed they kept the container open to allow us to put on a couple of last minute furniture arrivals that were delayed from other suppliers at their warehouse.
We would like to thank the Classic Moving team for their high level service and would certainly have no hesitation to use them again.

Even before the shipment arrived, Shidek was on top of the documentation necessary (helping me out when that went awry due to my own error) so that when the shipment arrived it was a matter of days before it was delivered. The unpacking team under Supervisor Jufri was exceptional. Within two days the entire contents of our home had been unpacked, assembled and arranged with efficiency, professionalism and a little humor. All this in the middle of a pandemic. Really well done! "
