" Engaged the law firm on end of March 2021 for my late mum's property in which we need to get letter of probate. The person whom attend to us Ms J was nice when we engaged and she said all the documents will be ready in 1 month time when we asked her. My dad also sign a letter of authorization for me and my Brother to take charge as he was admitted in the hospital and is inconvenient for him to deal with all these legal document.
Late April 2021: No response from Ms J. Texted her and she told us that everyone need to come back to law firm to re-sign some document as the document is not approved.
Late May 2021: No response again from Ms J. Texted her again and she said my dad need to come back again as the document my dad is signing is an English document and yet he do not know English. Extremely disappointment as the whole issue has been dragged for 2 months and we are still at the same documents over and over again. What worse was that Ms J mentioned that 'its her first time dealing with this grant of probate' and we need to be understanding. Such unprofessional remark as I had paid thousand for your service and this is the reply I get...In the event if Ms J provide us updates at least we as the customer will not be frustrated. Mentioned to Ms J that I want to speak to her supervisor and this is when Mr P step in.
Early July: Managed to get the grant of probate on hand.
Overall experience: I am pleased with Mr P's service and not for Ms J. Ms J is not professional and provide little update for us with regards to this issue. This is my first time having my close family pass away and dealing with this legal document. Definitely not a pleasant experience with this firm. "
