Description

7 Sept 2013 - 8 Mar 2014

TEMPORIUM was a pop-up store, diner and gallery housed on Dunlop street in quaint Little India, the ethnic quarter of Singapore. Spotlighting two conservation houses in a charming area, this historical backdrop played host to a selection of designers, craftsmen and artists.

With close to 4000 sqft spread over two levels, one could expect to shop ranging from fashion to books, enjoy a cup of artisan coffee, attend exhibitions and workshops all under one roof.

It was upon this platform that several homegrown brands, including Papa Palheta, Wild Rocket and BooksActually, came together for unique pairings and cross collaborations, thereby delivering new experiences for visitors in a colourful neighbourhood.

A self-initiated project between creative studio, Tofu, and boutique developer, Breezeway. One was looking to inject something exciting into the area, the other was seeking the next inspiration. A partnership rooted in exciting possibilities, they intend for TEMPORIUM to be an annual event spotlighting nostalgic architecture and contemporary design.
