" Absolutely horrendous service. Went to apply a supplementary card during the last week of August for my son whom was flying on 17/09. Told them specifically I needed before this date.
Firstly claimed I didn’t provide sufficient docs. Supplied to you guys on 30/08 & again on 31/08
Spoke to so many people till I’ve lost count. Each and everyone was acknowledging my request & said, Yes sir I’ll make sure to put a note that it’s urgent. Last night 14/09 I called to check. Nothing was done. No records. Promised to call me back 15/09 noon. Ended up only receive a call from you guys near 5pm. Told the gentleman to cancel my existing credit cards with you guys. Pls do not send to me my sons card too.
Absolutely worst service ever !!!

Did I mention. Some of your staff said sir actually you are able to do it online. My goodness you can’t even handle it in person ! "

" UOB calls take an average of an hour to get through. At times when you don't it's because the phone line cuts you off automatically after a long wait. Spoke to UOB remittance that I instructed the sale of shares to be wired to my bank account. Transaction was ordered on Jul 14 and supposedly completed on Jul 17. Called them on Jul 24 and shared with Jess from remittance the MT103 form and she advised it was gonna take 3 days for her to open her email. 3 days! That's more like the time other banks will take for a wire transfer to be completed, not to open an email I sent! I was infuriated. She promised to give me a call on Jul 25 which she didn't. Today on Jul 26 she called me to ask me to re-email the MT103 for the second time despite of my receiving the auto acknowledgement email the first time I sent. Seems like her manager was with her on the call and they can't even properly manage or retrieve the email I sent! Wired money and sent emails flushed into space! What are you doing UOB? Doesn't help to get back to me each day with new problems you face without providing any satisfactory answer. She told me she will get back to me tomorrow when I demanded her to do so because I don't have another 24hr to wait and I'm running out of patience waiting for a simple transaction like this. Instead she said it might take another 3 days for them to look into it. Wth. What's the point of getting back to me tomorrow when you can't even find an email or resolve the issue I'm facing? Two thumbs down. The situation is hopeless and utterly disappointing. "

" In the age of online account opening UOB wants us to visit the branch personally to open an account. Crazy! The ordeal doesn’t end there. The wait times here can be easily 2 hours because it seems they are always understaffed. Better to go to other branches for account opening. Pathetic really. "
