" Avoid at all costs. The medicines supplied for my dog were priced twice the retail price. The vet tried hard selling everything even when I told them I already have medicine for it - she continued to do tests. A price of ear infection cream is $30 and this clinic charged me $61. Avoid "

" This is probably one of the best vet clinics that we have visited so far. Our dogs (Boy boy & Girl girl) used to be under the care of Dr Emma and then Dr Loon after she left.
When we first visited Amber Vet, we could see that our dogs are more comfortable with the place as compared to other clinics. That really speaks something which is why we didn't really mind travelling all the way from Bishan to Siglap for all the appointments or replenishment of medication over the years. The last few years were not easy for Boy boy & Girl girl but you guys really made it much easier for us.
Now that Boy boy & Girl girl are on the other side of the rainbow bridge, we just want to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone at Amber Vet especially Dr Loon, Dr Emma and Melissa for your great service and attentive care all the time!
We wish you guys the best and will definitely recommend Amber Vet and Dr Loon to others. Thank you so much!

I had been taking my dog here for the past two years and was always satisfied with Dr Loon's practical and hands-on care and advice. I especially want to highlight how helpful he has been in helping us isolate my dog's allergies and providing me with what I needed to care for her sensitive skin better.

" I went to another vet for a second opinion and requested for my pet's medical report to be sent over but they gave attitude and delayed sending it over. I'm actually not sure if they actually did afterwards. I had to redo the tests at the other vet because of their selfish act. It showed how small hearted they are and how little they care about the wellbeing of animals they treat. "

" In short: Service has declined from a couple of years back, prices are higher than other vets, and I always feel like I’m being treated like a cash cow whenever I go there.
Don’t get me wrong, I understand that it’s a for-profit business but the impression that I get is that they love money more than the animals. I actually wouldn’t mind paying extra if the doctors there gave that extra something to make sure your pets are a-ok, but I’m typically met with an uninspired vet rushing through the consultation.
If you go there, make sure you have fat wallets for them to milk. I personally think there are better vets out there that cost less. "

" I've been sending my cats for vaccinations here yearly since 2014. I continued going because of a few vets there who are friendly to my cats namely, Dr Sylvia Tan and Dr Angeline Yang. Recently this year the clinic has opened another clinic just next door specially for cats. I find my experience today at this new clinic frustrating and disappointing. Firstly, the leading vet wasn't at all friendly to my cat. And my cat was already in pain. Her consultation fee was high and not worth her service. When I told her my cat's last visit was middle this year for his booster, she insisted we came middle last year! Talk about knowing your patients well! Secondly, she charged $180 for a blood test that she could not even complete well coz my cat was crying out in pain. She advised me for more blood tests and that is the bulk of the total cost of almost 1k! This doesn't even cover treatment! And when I left the clinic, no painkillers were even given to my cat! I'm just disappointed with the service rendered by Amber Vet today. I'm not bringing my cats there again. Too expensive and not worth the price for such services. "

" Used to be my favorite vet , more on the ex$ side, but i just wanted the best for my pets. Until one of my family vets was recently sent with overnight stay yesterday.
Charged more then where where told when we sent in our pet ( we did ask what is the maximum charges we could incur).
What they did was after talking to the mother who agreed on amounts, while she left, they asked my young traumatized brother to sign some payment agreements.
Pet returned to us in horrible condition after stay: dirty as hell , uncleaned almost covered in her own faeces, Needle still inserted into the vain!
Took a lot of convincing to give us the medical report, apparently Amber's practice NOT allowed to give owner medical report "as we are not smart enough to under stand it" and they only can give it to another vet. "
