besides almost everyone digital ic photo is newer than physical ic photo, wouldn’t you want an updated photo to provide better verification?

" Useless.
1.for the queue ticket - we said "fixed deposit", the girl at the front gave us one ticket and waited for 1 hour. When we went to the counter they said wrong ticket. Again took a new ticket and waited for half an hour.
2. Counter 12 - not really welcoming. They don't want you to open a fixed deposit account here.
Their online application doesn't work.they didnt mention you have to bring a passport to open a fixed deposit.
Useless bank. Unwelcoming services. Half baked online options. When asked why wont the online application work they said for some customer it wont. Hope it is not based on race.
Better go with DBS. "

Not so crowded.
Helpful and friendly greeters,
Queue number was 6th in queue.
We were served after only a short wait as all the numbers in between were skipped as the customers didn’t show.
Our service staff Kelvin Chong was extremely customer oriented, while addressing our slightly complicated request.
We also observed the professionalism and patience in the other service staff, with other customers (lots of elderly, some struggling with new ways of banking)
We were out within half hour, after receiving a nod and smile from the security guard.
