We are a Singapore-based company concerned with virtual reconstruction and visualization of ancient cities, digital reconstruction, cultural heritage documentation, and digital preservation. VR/AR representation can put historical heritage into the context of the modern landscape, in order to help visitors link history with their own present-day life.AVRA is currently developing the Virtual Musepedia of Islamic Civilization-VMIC.VMIC is an underdevelopment application with multiple knowledge structures to form a complete virtual addressing for the development of Islamic Architecture and Civilization through its different dynasties and locations within interactive virtual reconstructions. VMIC can link collections and distinct types of heritage information linking scattered and non-integrative cultural heritage content. VMIC contains tools to record, reconstruct, encode and visualize archaeological ruins in virtual reality. Quantitative and qualitative methods are used together to enhance and understand the complexity of Islamic Civilization as a human phenomenon containing technical and epistemological levels of analysis and interpretations. VMIC is a tool for retrieving the lost history and telling the untold story within virtual interactive knowledge representations. This project integrates the traditional expertise of heritage management, museology, history, and archaeology with the powerful new tools of digital information technologies and cross-cultural communications.This ongoing project depends on R&D with an international collaborative effort between research institutes all over the world. This platform applications targets universities, research centers, virtual museums, cultural centers, and cultural tourism.
