True to our name, All The small Things focuses on the little things in life that makes a huge difference.

We are two (vain) sisters who love dressing up and dolling up. We absolutely LOVE getting our nails manicured! Who doesn't love the look of freshly manicured and painted nails, right?

However, being Muslims, as it is not permissable to perform ablution with painted nails, we were restricted to getting them coloured during that time of the month. Oh, the pain of having to wipe off your nail polish at the end of the cycle...

We went crazy with peelable and water-permeable nail polish (YAY! We bought EVERY COLOUR AVAILABLE!) when they were actively marketed, but were disappointed at how easily the polishes would chip/peel off during wear. Soon enough, we got tired of using them and completely gave up painting our nails. :(

Until one day, we found coloured henna! Oh, the joy! But boy, were they a mess to apply. So we sat down, laid down, rolled around, putting two and two together... And our 100% Halal & wudhu-friendly nail stains were born!
