On 4 Sept 2020, while trying to locate the shop that I had purchased in Arab Street a year ago - a standing Turkish lamp that needed repair, I chanced upon this place and thought this was the shop.
I explained the situation to Me Kazem and he politely told me by looking at the lamp that it wasn't from his shop. However, he calmed me down and was trying to assessed the damage and see if there's any resolution.
He advised that I should go back to the shop that I had bought the lamp from to seek rectifications and possibly a replacement. He encouraged me to go down the street to ascertain the shop and assured me that meanwhile I can leave the lamp in his shop and collect it anytime. I sensed he was genuine in his approach.
I then told him I would come back the next day or when I have found the shop. He gave me his name card and again assured me.
I subsequently found the shop down the street and went back to Amin shop to retrieve the lamp.
Mr Kazem was all smiles and wished me well.
I wished him the best and peace.
Though I didn't buy anything from Amin, the warmth and sincerety of Mr Kazem holds deep I'm my respect.
