The ASEAN Low Carbon Energy Programme (LCEP) is a £15m aid programme of the UK's prosperity programming. In close collaboration with local and international entities from both the public and private sectors, the ASEAN LCEP will help ASEAN harness the benefits from the deployment of low carbon energy by leveraging the UK's extensive and proven expertise in green finance and energy efficiency.The ASEAN LCEP is delivered by the ASEAN LCEP consortium that has been formed between Carbon Trust, DT Global (previously known as IMC Worldwide) and EY. The ASEAN LCEP is being delivered across two key pillars: Green Finance and Energy Efficiency. The ASEAN LCEP focuses on four areas of support: policy support, capacity building, technical assistance and market development and is being delivered across the aforementioned two key pillars to achieve poverty reduction and inclusion benefits to citizens and the general population across ASEAN and in identified ASEAN countries. In Indonesia, the ASEAN LCEP focuses exclusively on the Green Finance component.The 3-year programme runs until 2022.
