Nashville hot chicken is quickly becoming Nashville's worst kept secret. The scorching, crunchy poultry explosion is so uniquely appetizing it'd make Music City a worthy vacation destination even without the music. Like any truly iconic dish, it has a great story to tell, filled with raw human emotion, controversy, and strange hallucinations. Back in the 1930s, Thornton Prince III's (The Founder of Nashville Hot Chicken...) girlfriend was so fed up with his womanising that, one night when he stumbled into his Nashville home late and full of excuses, she decided to teach him a lesson. Putting a malicious twist on the old saying that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach, she prepared Prince a buttermilk-fried chicken breakfast, doused in what she believed to be an intolerable amount of cayenne pepper and a few others known to be the the world's hottest peppers. Prince however liked it so much that he opened up a restaurant – as a single man of course and till this day the restaurant, Prince's Hot Chicken still remains. Co-founders Taufik Batisah & Ismail Bober is proud to announce the official opening of Chix Hot Chicken at 1 Jalan Pisang, a halal-friendly fast casual restaurant serving Nashville Hot Chicken which comes with 4 different levels: Mild Hotness, Medium Hotness, Extra Hotness and Insane Hotness. They also serve Nashville hot chicken sandwich and thick vanilla milkshake. For those who can't take the heat, they do have non-spicy fried chicken too!
