We are best known for our quarterly Investor Series which showcases business/ investment opportunities in Sri Lanka and commercial ventures and entrepreneurial undertakings that link the two countries.

Our recent events:

“Capital Market Opportunities in Sri Lanka” – a panel discussion with a senior trade delegation from Sri Lanka that included the Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning of Sri Lanka, Governor, Central Bank of Sri Lanka & both CEO’s of the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) & the Security Exchange Commission (SEC).

“Why Sri Lanka, Why Now” – An outsider’s perspective on why one should be bullish about Sri Lanka’s growth story for the long term presented by a former investment banker who is the Founder of Asia Frontiers Group and a Singaporean lawyer who is the Managing Director for Changaroth Chambers in Singapore.

“Investment Opportunities in the Debt and Equity Markets in Sri Lanka” by Acuity Partners (Pvt) Ltd on the investment opportunities prevalent in the Equity Capital Markets and the merits of investing in the Debt Capital Markets. Partner event with the SICC.

“A Tale of 2 Countries”. A senior panel discussion on the commercial and residential property market opportunities in Sri Lanka . The panel was represented by the Executive Director of the Thakral Group of companies, The Co-Head of HSBC Private Bank in SEA, CEO for Acquest Sri Lanka and the CEO for Jones Lang Lasalle in India.

“Investment Opportunities in Resurgent Sri Lanka”; “Partnership and Market Readiness Assistance Programmes for Singaporean Companies”. Stax, a global strategy consultancy was accompanied by IE Singapore for this. Partner event with the SICC.

‘Sri Lanka – Emerging into the 21st Century: The Role of the Port City Development & The Western Region Megapolis Infrastructure Plan’. The panel discussion was led by the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of the CHEC Port City Colombo, Head of Investments for the Western Region Megapolis Planning Project and Associate Professor at Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy.
