" I wanted to order a gift for a friend of mine in Singapore (I’m in Australia) to celebrate his birthday and house warming. Simply Hamper was on to it. Delivered at 9:40pm. It was a great alternative to the normal flowers and much more appropriate for him. The gift turned up looking as good as it did on their website.

" They sent the cake to the the billing address (my address) instead of sending it to the intended recipient (my friend's address) at the selected time slot. The driver then went to the correct address to attempt to deliver the cake but my friend had already left the house as it was way pass the delivery time slot. The durian cake ordered was sent to my friend as part of a celebratory event but has been screwed up by Simply Hamper. I tried asking for a refund from the management and they still have the cheek to inform me that only 50% refunded when this mistake is on them! After expressing my unhappiness they offered me 100% in credit. Do you think I would still want to order from you guys again after this screw up? And would I still need the cake when the event is already over? The manager even tried to frame the situation as if I'm at fault for cancelling the order! Useless management team who doesn't have the responsibility to own their mistakes. Will never buy from them again. Please stay away from this business. "
