Potter, Teo Boon Gim helms The Clay People Ceramic Studio. His commissioned works have been presented to ministers and dignitaries around the world, Boon Gim has more than 20 years of experience in pottery and ceramic works.

His training began locally under the apprenticeship of renowned masters like brothers Mr. Chua Soo Khim and Mr. Chua Soon Kim, Mr. Hassan Zolkikly Bin Adul Rahim and several others. After laying a strong foundation, he moved on to further improve and learn new techniques and expanded his knowledge with renowned artistes in China, Taiwan and New Zealand. In recent years, he has explored new forms of art such as Chinese painting and calligraphy. Boon Gim's clients include UOB bank, ANZ bank, OCBC bank, PSA, Changi Hospital, METTA Welfare Association, People's Association, Pek Sin Choon and many others.

Over the years, Boon Gim is also an educator at heart. He spent more than 10 years working with youth and children from Raffles Girls' Primary School, Huamin Primary School, River Valley High School and many other schools. He also shares his knowledge and skills through workshops for adults and corporate organisations.
