Vander Scouts Marching Band, previously known as BAMB!, is a community marching band formed in 2010, by a group of local marching band enthusiasts.
The name "Vander" is inspired by Singapore's national flower, the Vanda "Miss Joaquim", signifying our band colour, which is purple.
"Scouts" is represented by the scouts hat that will be worn by the members.

The group started off with a handful of members and has increased its membership to 35 strong members over the years.
Some of the group's achievements are;

1. Bedok Point's Opening Ceremony
2. Sentosa's Red & Yellow Flag Day
3. National Day Performance @ The Esplanade
4. Community Performances

In April 2013, the band made a breakthrough for the marching band scene in Singapore by being the FIRST community marching band
to participate in an international marching band competition. For the Thailand International Marching Band Festival 2013, the band
attained a Bronze award at the first attempt.
