Saint George Foundation started in 2004 as a result of the need to help increase life chances of children whose future and wellbeing were undermined by the eleven-year civil war, and whose conditions remain vulnerable as a consequence of the social context they find themselves. Being a child focused organisation as the rationale for the ‘Foundation'; Saint George Foundation Sierra Leone has been responding to the changing context of children in Sierra Leone from 2004 to date.
