This data is alarming and although April 28th puts a necessary focus on health and safety at work, best practices should be observed and followed daily. Our World Malaria Day Outreach Sensitization in partnership with the Aberdeen Women's Centre and the Ministry of Health and Sanitation. Entering communities in Goderich, Wilkinson Road and Aberdeen, we engaged the people on how to reduce malaria cases in their environments and the most efficient ways to get malaria treatment.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY MESSAGE

The commemoration of International Women’s Day grants a unique opportunity to acknowledge and appreciate the women excelling and making differences throughout the world. In Sierra Leone, the challenges women face advocating for more representation in governance and management positions, both in the public and private sector, do continue, but every year progress is made to chip away at the foundation of these ancient, obsolete stereotypes.

iMa...trix101 Group is proud to boast of not only majority staff as women, but a Managing Director in the person of Miatta D. Efe-Oghene, a prime example of strong female leadership, steadily navigating through the rough waters of the logistics and transportation industry with iMatrix101 Ltd, while simultaneously managing a lead marketing company, Elixir Marketing and Media.

Under Miatta’s guidance, iMatrix101 Group has focused its Corporate Social Responsibility on uplifting the girl child and youth, paying special attention to educational empowerment for the less privileged by allotting funds to rent the orphanage the children call home; providing them with scholarships; giving them all the learning materials they require and even creating and furnishing a library for them to read, study and socialize. She believes going the extra step for these young women will shape them to be caring, philanthropic ladies later on in their lives and that is why iMatrix101 operates on the theme: Changing Lives.
