" Fort Amsterdam needs some repair after Hurricane Irma & Hurricane Maria. Main sign needs to be erected being that its presently just lying on the ground near the entrance. Numerous info signs need to be replaced due to storm damage. Walking paths need grooming to remove pricker bushes to prevent injuries to visitors our clothing. Views are very nice of adjoining bays & sunsets "

" While visiting the island we hiked up to see the fort which provided a nice history of this area of the island and allowed for some beautiful pelican watching. The views at sunset are breathtaking! "
