• SAHD NGO is a non-profit organization licensed by the Syrian Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor (registration number 2486/2009).• SAHD main objectives:1-Contribute to establish health care centers that help people in need.2-Providing primary, secondary and tertiary care programs and rehabilitation for people in need.3-Training families and providing them with all necessary means to take care of their family members, throughout Mobile clinics, Medical Mobile teams, Medical consultations and Health referral system.4-Raising community health awareness to important health issues by doing Campaigns and scientific research.• SAHD NGO has an Early Intervention Center for Children with Special Needs and provides the following services:1-Evaluating children according by a scientific and systematic system (Portage)2-Integration of children into society through the application of the system of integration with kindergarten and schools3-Treating Children with articulation disorders.4-Behavior Modification5-Physical therapy for children6-Training center for scientific research7-Psychological services for children8-Training Parents how to deal with their special needs children.9-Protect and Provide psychological support to all battered women.10-Psychosocial support for adolescents.11-Family psychological counseling.12-Psychological support sessions.13-Educational and awareness sessions (individual - group).• SAHD Geographical coverage:Latakia governorate and soon in other governorates.• SAHD other relevant information:1- Our NGO has become part of the HeRAMS (Health Resources Availability and Mapping System) that supplies WHO with updated data on its health facilities.2-Our NGO also contributes, through its medical centers, to the Early Warning Alert and Response System.
