The Beaches Turks & Caicos Environment, Health and Occupational Safety Committee, in its short 8 months of operation have already made an impact in the community. The committee has held a number of community cleanup projects in the Lower Bight, participated in the TCI Shines and organized several coastal clean-ups as part of our Earth Day celebrations. The EHOSC also prompted the resort to participate in this year’s earth hour energy conservation initiative. In Education, the committee has conducted fire Safety training and donated Fire Extinguishers to Enid Capron Primary and Clement Howell High Schools. The EHOSC has also provided Catering assistance and entertainment for the Little Readers Club and Camp Hype

Our committee is made up of a dynamic group of visionaries that are excited about spreading our community service efforts nationwide. Our team is a diverse group of persons from multiple cultural backgrounds. All the members of our committee are volunteers from the resort and also stakeholders from communities across Turks & Caicos who have dedicated their time and energy solely because they see a need for the resort’s involvement in promoting environmental, health and safety initiatives that support sustainability within the country.

As a part of our committee requirements, each member is required to participate in the development and execution of our monthly community projects. All monies raised from our fundraising activities have gone directly towards supporting our community service and environmental, health and safety initiatives.
