" Pantip Plaza in Bangkok has long been known as THE place to go for electronics in Thailand. Negotiating the plaza's 4 floors of jungle, however, was difficult at best especially if you were a new comer. Well - all that is now history. Pantip Plaza was remodeled about 2 years ago and is now a very clean and spacious IT mall with 4 floors of vendors.
Keep in mind that as a general rule, electronic bargains are not to be found in Thailand due to import duties. Even items made in Thailand (think WD hard drives) can be found for less on Amazon.
But if you live in Thailand and are in need of a new computer or are visiting Thailand and need a cell phone or laptop accessory, Plantip Plaza is the first place I would look. "

" Excellent computer and electronics mall. Lots of little shops selling every accessory imaginable. It's been through a clean up from it's old self. Personally I preferred the old ratty version. Good to see there's still a bar outside selling Lao beer. Yum yum "

" A lot of people shopping. Many small shops mainly managed by young ladies. You can buy for your self or for resale. All resulting in a material logistic flow of clothes. From experiences I have seen people buying at the border of Poipet in Cambodia, an area with different casinos as well. "

" Good place to buy phones and computer gear under one roof. Plenty of shops however, apart from IT City (top most floor) and maybe one or two other shops, most shops don't look as reputed brands. But if you could overlook that you will find what you are looking for a a shop with good customer service. "

" Everything computer related you could ever need. But, it opens at 10:00 although very few shops open until 11:00, made me wait an hour. Cleaner and easier to get around compared to years ago. Parking for 4 hours was 80 baht, reasonable. "

When I go here I ended up with things I don't need.
If you love electrical stuff and gadgets then this place is haven.
