You could get a massage and a whole lot extra, there were other forms of manly entertainment also. The hotel wasn't nice then, as it is more just a place for assignation. There is a wifi signal but it never worked, there is no hot water, the bed has a blanket but no sheets. At 450 baht it's way overpriced.
As a bicycle tourist it was 130 km from Aranyaphatet to here. I was kind of tired from that ride to continue on to Chaochongsao. So here made the logical stopping point, although it doesn't set up well for the ride into Bangkok.
