" Located just in front of the Pattaya Floating market on the opposite side of the road .This place brings you face to face with life-size replicas of the creatures that lived 200 million years ago including a Tyrannosaurus Rex. Tyrannosaurus Rex was one of the largest land carnivores of all time; the largest complete specimen, measured 12.8 metres ( 42 ft ) long, and was 4.0 metres ( 13.1 ft ) tall at the hips. The Velociraptor ~ the word meaning swift to seize, was a mid sized Dromaeosaurid, with adults measuring up to 2.07 metres long and weighing up to 15 kg. The skull, which grew up to 25 cm long, was uniquely up - curved, concave on the upper surface and convex on the lower. The jaws were lined with 26–28 widely spaced teeth on each side, each more strongly serrated on the back edge than the front—possibly an adaptation that improved its ability to catch and hold fast-moving prey.
The park is set out so that you do get a very realistic idea of the size and power that these massive beasts had, especially when you see the T- Rex doing battle with a Torosaurus ( Torosaurus meaning perforated lizard, referring to the large openings in the frill ) commonly mistranslated as bull lizard it was around between 70 and 65 million years ago. It possessed one of the largest skulls of any known land animal. The frilled skull reached 2.6 metres in length. From head to tail, Torosaurus is thought to have measured about 9 metres long and weighed 4 to 6 tonnes. In 2010, research on dinosaur ontogeny growth and development of individuals over the life span concluded that Torosaurus may not have represented a distinct genus at all, but a mature form of Triceratops. Various other Dinosaur’s appear in the Jurassic Garden .
The general conception of this attraction is that it provides you with a setting that resembles prehistoric times. I first saw this Park when I visited Pattaya Floating Market in February 2011. But it was July 2011 before I finally got to visit here. The Gardens look very impressive from the Sukhumvit road, Jomtien. But inside I found it very tired looking and the gardens neglected. The Crocodile pen was not very well kept either. The staff seemed indifferent, and not very helpful. The Exhibits looked like they were all second hand, the condition was not what I expected. Whether this has changed in the years I missed going I am not sure, I hope so. There were a few live animals on display here, bullocks and deer. But all seem very bored and tired. This park could be turned into a great day out for the kids if only a bit of time was spent on refurbishing the whole of this attraction. Open daily 10.00 a.m. - 6.00 p.m. "

" This place totally sucks. what a ripoff. Tigers in small cages....deer look sick and wanting to die. trash spread everywhere...and old metal rusting dinosaurs that are leftover from the 70s. Skip the shithole and save your money!!! "
