The Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business (Lok Jack GSB) was established in 1989, as a collaboration between The University of the West Indies and the private sector. The Lok Jack GSB's Motto is the words-Innovatus Ars Ducendi, which essentially means Innovating the Art of Leadership. We have been the premiere graduate school of business in Trinidad and Tobago for more than 20 years, and now, we adopt a new challenge: to become the premiere business education institution of the world. To this end, we are aggressively pursuing the goal to become the first Caribbean educational institution to hold the 'triple crown' of business school accreditation.The Business School continues to be committed to providing the best leadership and management education available in the Caribbean by offering internationally recognised MBA programmes, which are accredited by the Association of MBA's (AMBA) in the UK.The Lok Jack GSB has trained and developed more than 20,000 people locally, regionally and internationally and has even gone as far afield as Botswana, Swaziland and the Seychelles. Professional Development and Business Advisory services, In-company Training, Customised programmes, Psychometric and Aptitude Testing, Succession Planning, and Coaching and Mentoring are provided by the Executive Education, and Assessment Centre and Institutional Effectiveness Unit, with these offerings continuing to complement the formal academic programmes with accessible learning experiences aimed at the full range of business professionals in the marketplace.The Business School also has five Research Centres: the Centre for Competitiveness; the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship; the Centre for Corporate Responsibility; the Centre for Business Analytics and Intelligence and the Leadership Institute.
