" Since this place was highly raved by all, thought it would be a place I couldn’t miss! It’s just opposite the Confucius Temple. Drinks were a little pricier compared to other cafes in Tainan. Staff were friendly and attempted to communicate with me in English (+1 for effort). Great place to spend a lazy afternoon "

" This place is a treasure. I needed to kill a few hours in Tainan while waiting for my hotel room and this was perfect. The atmosphere and sunflower table clothes made me at home in the strange city, and the food is great! I could have (and did) sit around for hours drinking tea and eating sweets. The second story view overlooking Tainan's famous Confucius Temple is a huge bonus as well. You actually get to see green things! This place is now a staple of any future Tainan trips :) "

" Narrow Door is an architectural and cultural wonder. Cool entrance, cool space, cool music, and cool laobanniang. A must-visit when in Tainan. "

" Waaay overpriced. The most expensive food we had in Taiwan and definitely the worst. The chicken dish was so tough i could barely eat it. The coffee works out at between £5 and £7 a cup. The narrow doorway is cool, so I would suggest you walk through it, then immediately turn around and walk back out and find yourself somewhere else to go "

" One of my favourite place in Tainan. A bit difficult to find but very good once you find it. The owner is very nice and always ready to help you. A place to go to chill with friends and having a coffee when the outside is hot as hell "

" It's a nice cozy place overlooking the Confucius Temple. The interior is filled with antiquities and decorative figurines. Their fresh coffee, unique snacks and pleasant servers makes this place one of my favourite places to visit when I'm in Tainan. "

" historical and really neat to go and experience. no air conditioning, so a little cold/hot depending on when you go. but full of history and antiques "
