" Not a bad night market. It has a mixture of food and clothing. Some nice fashion boutiques along the street. Had stinky tofu at one of the stalls there which tasted really good! The famous pepper pork bun stall is right at the start of the market, it's alright in my opinion. There's also a stall selling pork paper, friendly guy who will let you taste all the different flavours. Good to buy back as souvenirs. "

" Similar to other Taiwan night market, you feel much closer than Shilin Night Market. Many selection food & drink. Most of the store food stall have place to seat & covered "no need to worry about rain". Visit 2017NOV "

" Love the food here ! Also a remind to people who come here, please take a look at the riverbank! Just one street nearby~ it's cozy to grab some food from the night market and chill at the river bank. A lot of benches provided. "

" I haven't been here in over 10 years, but Raohe Street Night Market has lost a bit of it's charm since they've made changes. The street is much wider, which at least gives people more elbow room. I will say, this is a better night market than Shih Lin because of the way it's set up, and you can actually enjoy eating while browsing, because the food stalls are set up all the way down the street. The variety of foods has changed over the years, with some of the vendors now retired or dead. This is one of the best places to get Taiwanese street food. Make sure to stop by the lady who makes taro tapioca and mung bean drinks. The drinks always sells well, and sells very fast. She's located in the same spot for years, near the temple in the middle of the night market, near the Nike Store. "

" Nice night market with loads of street food! Try out this sit-down stall called brothers' herbal pork ribs, it's amazing and there's an upper level with air con available. There is also a famous pepper meat bun at another stall with a long queue. "

" Raohe market had something for everyone, games for children and spicy foods for adults. There was a particular store, catching goldfish with thin paper nets, that we played alot, I haven't played since I was a child and the owner was very friendly. A good tourist spot for people looking for food ~ "

" Another great market, just like Shilin but not as big. But offers plenty of food, drinks and things to buy. I actually would recommend this one for families with young ones as it's not as busy. "

" One of our favorite night markets besides Shilin! It's not as big but shops and food stands are very densely packed, so still a very fun experience to walk around while shopping & eating at the same time. Be sure to try the herbal lamb stews (藥膳排骨) - it's the most famous food item here and there are several shops that offer this. "

" I live across the street so I eat here every so often. I recommend coming here ever other week as a treat. The food is great (a tad repetitve) but you can never go wrong with the place I'm typing this review at (when you don't feel like consuming the Raohe NM)! "

" Nice place. I like it more than Shilin Night Market. Less crowded with bigger variety of foods. It is located close to riverside which is a great occasion for a walk after. "

" PACKED even on a weeknight! It's fun to just go and experience the sights and sounds. Much like Shilin, you can end up just walking in line with the crowd and it can be difficult to stop and check out individual vendors and food carts. The market is pretty food-centric, especially towards the middle. "

" Great night market for tourists! Plenty of tasty Taiwanese local street food and souvenirs that you will want to try or take a look.

Some stands which selling little things in the middle of the street might be dealing, you can bargain before you decide to buy.

Beside the market, there is a riverbank park and rainbow bridge where is beautiful to ride a bike or have a walk seeing blissing night view. "

" Lots of things to explore in this market. You should also check out some of the side stalls - the stall at the end of the market at the corner sells small boxes of Taichung Tai Yang Bing at reasonable prices (about NT $250 per box).

Other interesting food treasures to be found here as well. Cartoon-themed egg pancakes are just one of the many things I had at this market! "
