" We enjoyed the walk to the waterfall particularly across the hanging bridges and by the river. It is a fairly busy place, but the waterfall is beautiful, and if you go S but past where everyone stops you can get some privacy with this natural beauty. "

" The facilities were clean and new. The falls aren't big but scenic enough. Lots of parking nearby too.

" Beautiful falls. A 15 walk is needed to get there. Just before you get to the fall, drop by a vendor who sells pork jerky. That will be the best jerky you ever tasted because you will see to them making it fresh. "

" I've been here on a sunny day with no rain, and a super rainy day. It looks like two completely different places. It may be a bit of a hassle, but I suggest that you go there after some raining, the waterfall just doubles up in size。 If ever you walked here from town, you can get a cab ride back, we got one for a 100for all of us. "

" Four stars because, unlike other one-trick pony attractions, a visit here will cost you nothing (except for transportation)!
Jokes aside, it's a charming little waterfall. The shade and cool is a nice change of pace if it's the middle of summer and you're other stops have all been to places without any shade. "

" I went there to experience a hike and waterfall with my mum and we enjoyed our day out there. if you going to visit this place and you are far out from Tapei it is recommended to leave for first train from your area. hike is usually 15~25 minutes to waterfall , very light hike on road alongside mountain. you can opt in for an electric scooter but hiking is a lot more fun.
there's some things to see. the food is however pricier than any other local street market, so be prepared to bring your own edibles should you decide to not spend too much on the trip. "

" Would have rated 5 star if I caught the waterfall. Missed the opening hours. It closes at 4.30pm when visited in April 2017. It's quite far to walk from Shifen old street because after a 20min walk, there's a long stretch of walk to arrive at the entrance of the park. Have to visit during park opening hour to get any view of the waterfall. There are two viewing decks at two sides of the waterfall. Not sure if there's connecting path in the park. Outside the park, you'd need to walk quite a bit to travel from one to the other. "

" Far distance from Shifen to walk to here. Recommend to rent a electric bike at Shifen to here to shorten your travel period. It's really nice waterfall to visit and take photos. This place is maintenance well. "

" A beautiful waterfall, about 20-30 minutes walk from Shifen town. It was a pleasant walk with changing trails along the way. It's definitely not as busy as the town itself since a lot of people seem to skip the waterfall. There is a tourist information center with one cafe in between the town and the waterfall, so be sure to eat and drink at the town before you head out here if you think you will get hungry and thirsty.
Strongly recommended for those who love nature and walking! "

" Is a nice place. If you go to Shifen I recommend you to start the day in Cat Village, then go to SanDiaoLing waterfalls and finally go to Shifen to enjoy the waterfalls and old street. You can make all in one day and is better if you buy the one day ticket of 80NT "
