" Pretty standard bar. Decent size with good atmosphere. Free pool table play and a coin operated foosball table. Thursday nights are ladies night with free drinks for ladies and a dj with a dance floor. "

" Just walked out of the bar/restaurant 20 minutes ago. I travel about 20 to 30% of the year for work visiting bars and clubs whenever i can. Brass Monkey is nothing to shout about. Very average in terms of atmosphere, food and prices. Drinks variety have a lot of room for improvement. Reasonable prices on drinks and food if you order during happy hours. But prices go up to Singapore Clarke Quay level after that and that's not a compliment.
Staffs are responsive but somewhat lacking in English vocabulary even with terms commonly used in the F&B industry.
Nonetheless good place to hang out with friends. Recommended for small group of friends or colleagues who can appreciate a pint of Guinness with finger food and friendly banter. "

" This business is completely profit-oriented. They serve beer for OK-prices (NT$ 200) but they demand a minimal order of NT$ 300 per person. Who does that?
On entry-nights, they tell you if you leave to have a drink somewhere else, and come back later you have to pay entry again. WTF?! No pub would ever set up a ridiculous rule like that cause anywhere else it's fair enough as it is: You leave the party, you miss the party. That's it, that's the price you have to pay. Why should you compensate what you consume elsewhere?
