We aim to promote a Safe and Positive Nurturing Environment for children and youth, advocate for a Gender Equality Society, promote Human Rights, Child Protection and Safeguarding, enhance Global Citizenship, Life skills and Digital Technologies, and enhance Leadership and Good Governance.The world today requires a comprehensive approach to issues pertaining to reproductive health, Youth Empowerment, Gender, Education, Livelihood, amongst others; with this in mind, Transforming Life is established by dynamic Tanzanian experts with more than twenty years of experience working in the areas of Child Protection, Girl's Education, Gender, and youth empowerment. Transforming Life (TL) is officially registered under NGO ACT with registration no.00NGO/R/1930.In the process of promoting a better future for youth, TL has joined government and stakeholders' efforts to eradicate all forms of violence against children by enabling parents, guardians, teachers, and the entire community to support the best interest of the child. Transforming Life believes that everyone has the right to feel safe and therefore advocates for safe, non-violent, and non-abusive environments for all youth.Transforming Life believes that young people can transform society when they develop a ‘growth mindset' where they value effort as a route to mastering new skills and competencies. To be able to achieve this vision, Transforming Life intends to engage children and youth with transformative life skills training that will help them to learn the facts and break the silence around any kind of abuse and gender inequalities; stress resilience, self-awareness and emotion regulation that will help them to identify themselves and explore their talents and maximize their potentials.
