We are a Daycare and Preschool (3 months – 5 years) based in Dar es Salaam and our aim is to nurture our children’s desire to learn, experiment, play and to gain independence.

Our curriculum is based on the UK’s Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and is designed to foster the emotional, physical, social, intellectual and creative development of each child.

We believe that children need a safe as well as inspiring atmosphere in which to grow. A home away from home, where they can develop their social and other skills while having fun. We believe that they should have the opportunity to play safely yet at the same time, participate in stimulating activities which will lay a foundation for their schooling. We believe that we should encourage the best of diet and exercise habits, which will help them, become healthy individuals. And above all we believe that a child decides his or her own pace of doing things, we shall not push them simply encourage them.
Sure Starts Children’s Centre aspires to become the first choice Daycare, Preschool, Holiday Club and Extra Curricular Activity Centre here in Dar es Salaam; where children are supported and inspired with a range of activities to cultivate their development and to encourage learning.
