Working as a Vice President (Projects) from January 2010 to till date for Constructing and Renovating New Africa Hotel in Dar es Salaam. Have Responsibilities of Participation in Bidding of Tenders, Awarding Contract to the Contractor, Reporting to Client regarding the progress & budget requirement of a particular month .Summarizing the Total Concept of the work & Resort to operators and getting the feedback from them. Overall Supervision of all sorts of works and coordination with subordinates. Updating the clients with the requirement of the amenities in the Hotel and service and security related components. Also responsible for selection of Interior related materials for Rooms, Public Areas and BOH Areas. Involved in Planning, designing, coordination and execution works by coordinating with Architects, Designers & Consultants. (The Hotel Project is a renovation project. Have involved in Planning for Materials to be purchased by clients, Coordination for Architectural & Service related drawings, prepared the entire budget for renovation of Guest Rooms, Public Areas, Back of the House Areas, Staff Quarters, Plant Rooms & External development of the Building Premises. Prepared tender documents & floated Tenders, Carried out scrutinizing of tender bids & awarded Contract to the Contractors & Involved in overall execution of the Project)- The Total value of the Project is 70 Million Dollars & The Residential Project Value is 35 Million Dollars which to commence soon. ( The Consultant are David Humphreys for Services & Kasat for Architectural & Interior works)
