In 2020 Pure Choice Initiatives (PCI) was birthed to address issues of Economic Empowerment, Youth Mentorship, Climate and Environment Conservation, SRHR, Civic Education, and Sustainable Agriculture. Although the official registration was in 2020, our activities had started earlier in May 2019.Initially it was all about skilling and empowering the vulnerable women and the girl child in Busoga region with skills for self-reliance. However, we later realized the need to expand into sustainable agriculture because we were dealing with rural communities whose major activity was agriculture. This coupled with climate and environment conservation would help in boasting their livelihood; we also included reproductive health and civic education for the communities.
