Strongwomen Uganda is a community based organization which was established in Kazigo A, Nambale sub-county, Iganga district.Economic empowerment is central to women's ability to overcome poverty, cope with shocks and improve their well-being. This is where SWUGA saw its role in terms of providing support at both policy and programme levels to remove the constraints that affect women's status, their income generating activities and resulting income.
