About Lohana Schools of Kampala
The Lohana Schools pf Kampala are owned by The Lohana Community:
- Lohana Primary: Nursery - P7, Namirembe Road, Old Kampala.
- Lohana High: S1 - S6, Old Kampala.
- Lohana Academy: Nursery - P7, Kololo.
Description
The first school Lohana Academy, a Nursery and Primary was set up in 1995 in Kololo, Kampala.
The second school Lohana Primary, also a Nursery and Primary in May 2009.
Subsequently, Lohana High School offering both O and A Level classes was set in January 2010.
The schools offer a stimulating and stress free experience in a day school provision.
The schools follow the Ugandan Curriculum and offer UNEB's examinations at P.L.E., O and A Level.

Children at the three Lohana Schools are training and preparing for MDD competitions.
LP and LH will have their competitions tomorrow and a concert for parents and well wishers on Saturday 28th July from 9am.
LA will have their competition next week and the concert on Saturday 4th August from 9am.
...2 houses: Venus and Jupiter will compete at LH. 3 houses: Tiger, Rhino and Buffalo will compete at LP. 3 houses: Zebra, Lion and Cheetah will compete at LA.
May the best performances win BUT all participants are winners for participating and contributing towards their house.

This morning we are holding the Pre-Primary Sports Day at Lohana Primary. Thank you to all the parents and well wishers for being present to cheer the youngsters.

Last week, one of our parents, Ms. Anderson Nsubuga Helen wrote to us about the rare medical condition that her child has.
She requested for financial help towards the child - called Hans Lee Madi of P3B at Lohana Primary - getting medical treatment to remove painful veins from his body.
The Principal and the Headteachers wrote a circular to all parents requesting donations to help one of our own.
...Our dear parents, children and well wishers have responded with great kindness and donated generously.
Total collected at the three schools has reached 5,379,250/-.
Added to this the family and friends of the Principal in the UK have donated 1,720,000/-.
Hence, a total of 7,099,250/- has been collected for this cause. This amount was handed over to Hans and his mum by the Principal, Headteachers along with a couple of LH students this morning at Lohana Primary.
We wish Hans best of luck with the operation scheduled for tomorrow and a full, speedy recovery.
