My first trip to Uganda in 2010, I saw many children not attending school, due to poverty and was excited to build them a 3 room school in a village.

My name is Tracey Price and I had the fortunate opportunity to visit Uganda in April 2010. Immediately I fell in love with the culture, children and the country.
It was not surprising to see poverty in a place such as Africa, but despite what little these people have, they are happy with much love to give. What was frustrating to see was how inaccessible education was to many of the children I met.
It has become my mission to provide education through Uganda Learns Now. A school has been opened in the village of Bugongo, but my goal is to continue expanding in order to positively affect more of Uganda's children.

Thank you so much for another successful year..The children are now finished the school year of 2014 where they have all successfully passed their exams..I am so proud of the teachers for all their hard work and dedication to the children and to our school. I look forward to returning to Uganda Feb 2015 when the children will start their next grade....Missing all that Uganda gives to me...Blessed..Gratitude....
