Uganda Volunteers Foundation is Non-Governmental organization operating in Uganda, it was launched and registered in 2013 as women, girl and child empowerment agency. For over four years UVF has specialized in aspects of Child education, OVC systems strengthening, Women and Girls centered interventions, experience obtained from implementing OVC programs both directly and indirectly through partners and Local Governments in Uganda. Our Vision Empowering Vulnerable Women, girl...s and children. Our Mission UVFs main aim is to help vulnerable women, girls and children in Uganda have a better life through working towards empowerment, education and livelihood promotion.

Uganda Volunteers Foundation, supports over 100 vulnerable children through education, who currently do not have hopes for their future. All these kids want is to go to school full time, but they have no money allowing them to do this. Some of them are orphans, others live with their mothers who have been abandoned by their husbands. There's no such thing as support from the government for these families, and what little money they have goes towards buying food and paying for water. These young kids dream of being doctors, teachers and engineers one day, and all they ever ask for is to be able to go to school. UVF can't send them all to school, so instead we decided to at least make sure they can read and write that’s why we have been running literacy classes for two years now. The focus of the classes is literacy to try and give these children some chance to succeed in life. The main agency for the funds now is to be able to sponsor all these kids in school full time. We are calling up on everyone out there to help support these children through education, whoever donates puts a child fully in school. The school fees costs are as follows, Primary school: 200$ per term. Secondary School: 350$ per term. This money includes school fees and all school requirements per term. Also note that There are three terms in a year and three month in a term. A person can also decide to donate monthly or yearly towards a specific child, or children and for this we can provide the child’s biography. If you’re not able to donate you can simply help us spread the word by sharing with your friends, family and all people in your circle. Just to let everyone know that we have officially started our 1st term for the year 2018, our children are back to school and very happy as usual, as you all know we support 250 vulnerable children some have got sponsors and others do not.
