Crazy Monkey Alaska's focus is to provide challenging, fun, and most of all functional boxing, martial arts, and self defense programs where our clients can explore and expand their potential using the martial arts as a vehicle to be better than they were the day before. Whether that be to learn more about themselves, increase fitness levels, learn effective self defense techniques, for personal mastery or just for fun.
We firmly believe that a person’s ability to defend himself or herself is far more predicated on their healthy outlook to life. Building mental game through martial art training and emotional resilience is far more important in a person’s everyday life, than self-preservation skills we hope they are never called upon to use."

Sup AKMonkey fans!!! Just wanted to give a shout out to the whole crew today, Charissa, Donita and Kristy killed their 12:15 CM Kickboxing circuit. Super proud of the effort this week ladies!! Tony, Katie and Michael got in some solid sparring rounds while Stephan and I did a little over an hour on No gi rolling tonight at open mat.
Great work everybody!! See you in the morning for stretch 😉

Afternoon Monkeys!!! After discussing it with the other coaches, we have decided to cancel all classes this evening due to the smoke. With no AC and not much breeze the studio is super smoky and it’s hard to breathe.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to everybody in Willow and the peninsula dealing with the forest fires, As well as to all of the responders working tirelessly!!!! You are all super heroes!!!

So this is what my studio looks like.....lol just finished up an amazing kickboxing session with Charissa!! Back on the Mats today after five days of being sick and spending a day in the hospital. Not to worry I am on the mend and super excited for the new classes, challenges and happenings coming at Crazy Monkey Alaska!!!

Hey Monkeys, coach Jason here, just found 4 inches of standing water in my basement due to I’m assuming freeze damage on the outside water spicket. Needless to say classes are canceled for today as I am ankle deep in water damage!!!!
