The Antioch Bible College is a fully accredited school offering degree programs (B. Min, M. Min, D. Min) as well as a certificate program (2 year Cert. of Min.). Earn a fully accredited degree for less than $15,000.00.

Program Description

Courses

Coursework will include one class per trimester within a Socratic discussion based cohort group of 8-10 students. Classes meet once a week on Monday nights for two hours (4:00-6:00pm or 6:00-8:00pm). Credit is earned by participation in class discussions, reflection papers (weekly), and 4 essay papers at the end of each course. Courses for both certificate and degree programs:

1. Acts of the Apostles
2. Pauline Epistles
3. Essentials of Sound Doctrine
4. Leaders in the Early Church
5. Interpreting the Scriptures I
6. Habits of the Heart

Certificate students can transfer their work into the degree program at any time after consultation with and the approval of school administration.

Additional courses for the degree program : (Degrees require General Education & Electives)

1. Preaching and Teaching in the Early Church
2. Shepherding
3. Interpreting ll
4. Covenants

Degree students must also take General Education courses. These courses are not provided by the school. See the Dean for details

Practicum

All students will be required to participate in a ministry of Rancho Community Church. Practicum will include a minimum of 5 hours per week serving and 1 hour per month meeting with the ministry team leader. The student will collaborate with the team leader to set learning goals. A reflection paper outlining the goals, the experience serving, and the lessons learned will be submitted to school faculty every 8-10 weeks.

Mentorship

All students will be required to find a mentor (preferably a ministry team leader) or one will be assigned to them. An important aspect of education in ministry is character development and growing to be more Christ-like. There are 6 assessments that students will fill out with their mentors and revisit each time they meet. The initial assessments will be turned in to school faculty upon completion and will be revised and resubmitted each year.
