" this place is disgusting, they do not upkeep this place, things are always broken. For example, our disposal drain completely came apart underneath the sink and flooded our kitchen with filthy water, a piece from the microwave fell off and landed on a pot of sauce i was cooking and catapulted it across the kitchen, the temperature dial on the oven fell off first time we tried to use it making the oven completely unusable for several days, screws from the chairs literally just fall out because they don’t inspect the apartments before new renters move in, a lot of these issues could be potentially dangerous luckily we have had no injuries. Oh and to top it all off I have found roaches in the couch, this place is not worth the money in the slightest, they completely sucker you in with their rental agreement but then as soon as you sign and move in it’s now your problem all of the things wrong with their building that should’ve been fixed prior to the new leases starting. Save your money and peace of mind and DO NOT LIVE HERE. "

" Aztec Corner is not as bad as all of these other reviews make it seem. Yes it is not the newest or best apartment complex around, but it isn't all too bad. It is a bit run down and old though. My favorite thing about this apartment is that we are so close to campus. It takes less than five minutes to walk to campus. Also they throw fun little events for holidays where they hand out free food. Printing is also free. It's not that bad of a place to live, and it is one of the cheapest options close to campus. "

" The best part about Aztec Corner is how close it is to campus, it is extremely convenient to not only get to the school but other stores as well. The front office is also really friendly, definitely a plus to be able to get free coffee every morning and print stuff. The only downer is you do have to pay for the laundry and its really close to the main road so it can get a tad loud, other than that I would definitely renew my lease. Also once in a while they have events where they offer FREE FOOD and nothing is better than free food when you're a college student! "

" This place is horrible. I know you will read countless other reviews saying similar things, LISTEN TO THEM. Don't make the same mistake I did by signing a lease with Aztec Corner, for this will result in an entire year of a constant state of despair and misery for you, your family, and anyone you bring to this massive s*** hole.

To start things off, do not trust their roommate matching system. Two of my friends and I moved into a two bedroom two bathroom, and we all put the same preferences down as to what characteristics we would like our random roommate to have. Letting the people at the leasing office handle our future roommate situation could not have been a poorer decision. We ended up with a racist, douchey, sexist, wannabe frat-star who insists on calling everyone in the apartment a "f*g". I did not know people like this existed. Everyone in the apartment has caught him stealing food, he never cleans after himself, he talks s*** about all of us openly, and the best part is that the manager of Aztec Corner will not do anything about it. I have contacted the manager in regards to the situation, and in return I received nothing but a recommendation to find someone who can take over my lease and to move elsewhere. Great advice.

Moving on, the apartment complex itself is a giant sack of s***. Given that the place is about $2800/month divided between the four roommates, you'd think your air conditioner wouldn't leak all over the carpet a couple of times a day. Or at least the washer/dryer units would work long enough to do a load of laundry. Unfortunately, here at Aztec Corner, nothing works. All that money you are paying is going down the drain, or it would if your sink drain would work. Or your shower drain.

If you took a tour of the model apartment like I did, you probably have very high expectations of this place. Take those expectations and put them right next to my GPA: rock bottom. That nice leather furniture? Only available in about two rooms on each floor (I checked). For everyone else, you will be sitting on semen-stained, torn up, blue material couches. I'm sure they promised high-speed, or at least working, Wi-Fi connection if you live here. That's not a thing. I am writing this review on campus, because I haven't had a stable internet connection for the past few weeks at my not-so-great "apartment". The cable only works in the main living room. The dishwasher has not been used since the first week I moved in because it does a worse job washing dishes than my 71-year-old grandma. The back of the desk chair in my bedroom is missing three of the four screws which is a bad thing I'm sure you can imagine. Unless you like sleeping on a piece of plywood, which is what the mattress they provide is most comparable, bring your own mattress. The water pressure is too weak to be able to wash any sort of food off of your dishes. There have been fruit-flies in my apartment since I first set foot into my apartment on day one, and after countless attempts to rid of the flies I have learned to accept them for what they are.

The furniture here sucks. The management here sucks. The utilities here suck. The apartments here suck. Everything here sucks. Unless you like things that suck (in a bad way), please do yourself a favor. Never come to this horrible place known as Aztec Corner. They will try to suck you in, telling you not to worry about online reviews just as they told me. DON'T BELIEVE THEM. Everything you read here and on other reviews is true. I'm sorry to disappoint you, but your search for a semi-decent living arrangement for next year is not over. "

" Aztec Corner is a great place to live, especially when transitioning from your freshman year in college. Not only is it a 5 min walk to campus, it is also one of the more affordable, furnished apartments in the area. The bedrooms are nicely sized, including full size beds, spacious closets and a generous amount of drawer space. Service requests are usually fulfilled within a reasonable amount of time, and management is very nice. Overall this is a decently affordable, and comfortable apartment near campus. "

" From all the reviews I've seen about past experiences in Aztec Corner, it seems that the place has really upped their game! This year (2015-2016) the rent was $684 and the only utility you have to pay for is electricity, which for me and my roommates, averaged about $8 each per month. It comes fully furnished, with furniture in great condition. New and impressively fast and reliable internet connection provided by COX. Noise level isn't really much of a problem, though you still can hear music being blasted from fraternities in the area (but not so loud where it's unbearable). There were only a couple times where water had to be shut off for a few hours due to scheduled maintenance and one emergency shutoff, but the place does a good job informing the residents about them beforehand. I renewed my lease for Aztec Corner again for next year because I was so satisfied with my experience here! "
