China Camp State Park was founded in 1977 to preserve the cultural history of the Chinese Shrimp Fishery in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Description
The park has 13 miles of hiking, biking, and equestrian trails. It is situated along San Pablo Bay in San Rafael. Many of the day use areas have lovely views of the water. The trails go up into bay, oak, redwood, buckeye, and madrone tree forest. It is a lovely place to recreate, have a picnic, learn about the history, and relax.
