" First time trying this new hot chicken place. I must say I wasn’t too impressed. First and foremost is the price. $20 for a chicken sandwich combo is pretty high but I figured if it tasted great then it is worth it.
The chicken sandwich: I ordered mine mild, I had a bit of heat still which I don’t mind but I found the chicken breast was pretty dry, maybe over cooked. The mild sauce was missing, meaning the breast wasn’t as wet as I was expecting. The bun was also dry. The size of the chicken breast fillet was huge, the portions are great. The crimson sauce is pretty good. I ended up dipping my sandwich in it.
The fries: I really wanted to like the fries but I found the seasoning they used on my fries made it very salty. If I would have known I would have gone with light seasoning.
The staff in the restaurant are very nice and hospitable. The store is very clean and it seems like your order is made to order. I may give it another try but I’ll order a different sandwich and definitely light seasoning on my fries and the price is differently a big factor.
