The Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi wants San Francisco's hair salons to be kept closed indoors, and for them to be left without governmental financial aid as well: http://youtube.com/watch?v=hP2f3YOk2Os
Meanwhile, on August 31, a maskless Ms. Pelosi had her own hair worked on indoors at San Francisco's E Salon, owned by Erica Kious – pictured attached –, who points out that what Ms. Pelosi feels is safe for her – a person in the 80+ risk group –, she ought to consider being safe for others too.
Ms. Pelosi's hairstylist is an independent contractor renting space in the salon, where surveillance cameras were installed five years ago. Salons in San Francisco have been closed since March, and starting on September 1 were allowed to open only for hair work done outdoors.
