" Like the new decor but the bar is only bare wood, needs a poly coating to prevent splinters and food bacteria from accumulating on the bare wood openings, knot holes, splintered areas. Must be a new cook too. Potatoes were fried hard on one side and half raw on the other. Was served only 1 slice of toast even though orders served to others had 2 slices. Had to ask for 2nd slice. Service was poor compared to other visits. Needs improvement! "

" Nice staff, lots of food and giant pancake that is sweet and cake tasting. It's an old restaurant women's bathroom needs painting. Booths are a tight fit as you really sink down in the seat to a point of wondering if you can get out comfortable. Food is yummy and coffee is good with my favorite creamer. Relaxing atmosphere. "

" The best chicken fried steak and biscuits and gravy I've ever had. Those regular portion is humongous it's huge for the senior portion is one patty two eggs one biscuit and gravy the regular portion is two Patty's three eggs and two biscuits and gravy it's wonderful... "

" Wow! It's rare for me to give 5 stars to a "breakfast joint," but between the servers, service, and the sandwich I had for lunch at Family Homestyle Cafe, I was more than happy to hit the "golden buzzer" for straight up satisfaction!
My Turkey BLT came with the choice of salad or fries (fries please!) and the raspberry iced tea came in a full sized mug with free refills.
And ALL the servers seemed to work as a team, each coming by to make sure everything was perfect... More like a Morton's Steakhouse or Ruth's Chris amount of attention and respect, than a small town breakfast and lunch nook!
When in, or near, Loma Linda, you really should give Family Homestyle Cafe a try.
