TOP is open to all students who are incoming freshman, first generation college students and have an interest in transferring to a four-year institution.

SOME OF OUR SERVICES INCLUDE:
Matriculation - Students take part in a program orientation designed to assist in making the appropriate course selections. The program orientation covers a host of topics vital to the student’s success.

Academic Support - Special workshops are provided throughout the year to aid students with their academic and career development. Each student’s performance is monitored to assure success.

Counseling 105 - This course provides students with an overview of the transfer process and the basic study skills they need to achieve academic success and to transfer. This course is a requirement for all entering TOP students and is UC and CSU transferrable.

Counseling and Peer Advisement - Appointments with trained counselors are available for TOP students needing personal and career counseling. Counselors and peer advisors are available on a walk-in basis.

University Campus Tours - TOP provides its students transfer information through various online, email, and telephone media. TOP also provides information on other academic, social, and cultural events.

$Financial Aid$ - Students are given a regular update on such important issues as scholarships, internships, and financial aid.

TOP Center - TOP students can utilize our center’s numerous resources:

OUR SUCCESS RATE:
Since the Fall 1991 semester, the Transfer Opportunity Program has transferred approximately 1,400 students to UC, CSU and private institutions.
