Hey! Come to the final Block Party,(besides the actual Fair) of the year. It will be Monday, July 30 at 6pm here at the fairgrounds. Free tacos and soda! This has been a huge success in every community that has held one, now it's Quincy's turn to welcome everyone to their town.

OMG! The Portola Block Party practically brought a tear to my eye. About 150 people came to the city park and did exactly what I hoped for. They talked, met new friends and just plain liked where they lived! Thanks to my wife Denise and my boys Dakota & Landon for helping make this first block party a success. Thanks to Bill Powers for being a great host. The bar has been set high! Next Saturday come to Crescent Country in Crescent Mills at noon for the Indian Valley Block Party. #welcometotheneighborhood

Could not have asked for a better County picnic. Thanks to everyone who signed our block and we hope everyone can come to our block parties in other communities. Next one is in Portola city park on June 8th and starts at 6 p.m. period come for free tacos and RC Cola. Then the Portola folks can sign the block.

TONIGHT! Free Drive-In movie! We can't mention the name, but it has to do with classic cars and classic music. You've probably heard of some of the stars if you ever watched the Andy Griffith Show or Star Wars. Free popcorn and soda! Bring you car, park on the grass, tune in on the radio and enjoy the show! We start around sundown which should be about 9:15pm.

Lots of vendors signed up for the County Picnic....hot dogs, BBQ, home made ice cream, taco bowls and margaritas. Add some classic cars and you have a great plan for this Saturday. We're crowning the 2018 Sweetheart of the Mountains around 2pm.
