" Efficient and kind staff. The white haired gentleman at the Front desk made every effort to make our stay seamless. He personally walked out to get my license plate#. He called for a shuttle in a timely fashion. He immediately brought me a toothbrush and paste within 5 minutes of my call. He is a keeper! The breakfast was handy and clean. We were comfortable in the room. "

" Room as great - quiet and comfortable. Downstairs room had a little patio we could sit in. Kitchenette with fridge and microwave. Parking a little tight but no worse than any other LA parking and it was free. The continental breakfast was boiled eggs, danishes, muffins, pancakes, cereal, fruit... Not bad. If you want more Dennys is right next door. The neighborhood was safe. I would stay there again in a minute. The staff was very friendly and helpful. "

" We were checking out UCLA, I was considering Hilgard House but decided on Royal Place and IT WAS GREAT, even though no pool, I was pleasantly surprised how nice it was. The beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept on in a motel, it was very clean and updated very closed to UCLA just walk up two blocks. The front desk man, Hector, was so helpful with all the questions we asked him, including how to get around without a car. I would DEFINATELY stay here again. "

" Very nice stay. Rooms were quite clean and tidy, and had a modern bathroom, and a mini fridge, microwave, and a full coffee maker. My only complaint is that the breakfast was very limited. The food there was okay, but sadly there was no egg or meat. "
