When we opened our first store in 1978, we did so out of a true desire to help people with all their DIY and home improvement projects. You see, we used to work construction, and through that we learned a lot about the importance of using the right tools and supplies to complete jobs. So, when we opened Standard Plumbing Ace Hardware, we filled it with inventory that ranged from high-end to affordable, depending on what our customers needed. We’re still upholding that tradition in the Richmond District at our second location on Geary Boulevard, offering over 50,000 items to contractors, weekends warriors, and anyone simply looking for great products, a clean place to shop, and a knowledgeable staff to help them find what they’re looking for.
