In the fall semester of 2010 1Ls Danila Toscano and Francisco Balderrama discovered the need for a space at UCI Law for Latina/o students and those interested in issues that affect the Latina/o community to connect with each other and with the larger Orange County legal community. After much discussion and planning they held the first meeting of the UCI Latina/o Law Students Association (LLSA) in December of 2010.

Although still in its infancy, we hope to create an all-inclusive organization for the many generations of students to follow that will always remain active in both the UCI community and the larger Orange County area.
