The Global Child, an extension of Interactive Language Solutions, was established in 2011 to offer early childhood learning experiences for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. The focus of our programs includes the development of language skills, second language exposure and global learning opportunities to very young children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. The school was founded based upon current research that proves that learning a second language at a very young age as well as children developing an understanding of their world and their role in the world provides them with a myriad of cognitive, social, and personal benefit. It has been scientifically proven that young children have a “window of opportunity” between birth and preadolescence to learn languages with much less difficulty than later in life. During these formative years the brain is “hard-wired” to acquire languages naturally. After this developmental period, learning a second language becomes increasingly difficult.

Our classes and programs provide a stimulating environment and care center where young children can discover their world, develop strong communication and collaboration abilities, and gain valuable skills for school and life success. The Global Child nurtures each individual child's strengths and celebrates these talents while we work to help children appreciate differences.
